Zarbaf Farahan: Tournament Preview

The first event of the week sees the Challenger Tour go back to Iran for the second time in 2020, with the Zarbaf Farahan Squash Tournament taking place in the nation’s capital, Tehran.

Like the previous Iranian event, the Commemoration Of The Martyrs Of The Iranian Navy Army, this week’s draw are all domestic entries, with the 24-strong field all hailing from the country.

Sajad Zareian Jahromi took the victory in last month’s tournament and he will be aiming to do the same this week as the top seed at the Heidarnia Sport Complex.

Navid Maleksabet, Mohammad Kashani and Amin Ataei are the other members of the top four seeds, while Sami Ghasedabadi, who made it to the final in Tehran last month, will also be looking to go one better here.

The event takes place from Wednesday 10 to Friday 12 at the Heidarnia Sport Complex in Tehran, where Sajad Zareian Jahromi is the top seed for the tournament. Follow the PSA Challenger Tour on Twitter and Facebook for daily updates from the event.
