Four PSA World Tour event came to an end over the weekend, with Hong Kong duo Annie Au and Ho Tze-Lok, experienced Finnish campaigner Olli Tuominen and Egyptian qualifier Menna Hamed all lifting silverware.

Au, the Women’s World No.12, picked up her first title of 2017 after defeating Australia’s Donna Urquhart in a five-game battle in the final of the Texas Open.

The 28-year-old twice went ahead in the fixture, only to see a dogged Urquhart, who beat top seed Joelle King in the previous round, fight back to restore parity on both occasions. However, Au pulled through in the fifth to close out the win, earning her 13th career Tour title.

Tuominen, meanwhile, claimed his first Tour crown since 2013 after the veteran 37-year-old overcame Men’s United States No.1 Todd Harrity in the Oregon Open final.

The World No.64 had upset pre-tournament title favourite Raphael Kandra in the semi-finals after a spirited comeback from 2-0 down and he was forced to come from behind yet again in his final encounter with Harrity, overturning a one-game deficit to take the win in four games.

Elsewhere, Ho and Hamed both claimed their maiden Tour triumphs after they prevailed at the Sandgate Open and Riga Ladies Open, respectively.

Ho, the World No.51, saw off compatriot Chu to break her Tour title duck, while Hamed battled all the way from qualifying to reach the final in Latvia, where she saw off fellow qualifier Victoria Temple-Murray.
