Weekend Roundup: Defrawy Captures Delaware Open Crown

Egypt’s Kanzy Emad El Defrawy, the World No.39, claimed her fifth PSA World Tour title since the start of 2016, with a 3-0 victory over Australia’s Sarah Cardwell seeing her triumph at the Corporation Service Company Delaware Women’s Open.

El Defrawy, who has now won three of her last four tournaments, narrowly missed out on qualification for the main draw of the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions, World Series event the week before, but she bounced back and put in a devastating display against Cardwell in Wilmington to take home the title.
