Vitall Sport Challenger 3: Poleshchuk Claims Third Win of 2021

At the Vitall Sport Challenger 3, held at Enjoy Squash in Bielsko-Biala, Poland, Israel’s Daniel Poleshchuk claimed victory for the third time on the Challenger Tour this year.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament was run with only domestic entrants, with Poleshchuk one of just two non-polhesin the field, along with Irishman Eddie Mcfarlane.

The Israeli had already tasted success at both of the R.D.I. Polska Enjoy Open Challenger events earlier this year, and came through this entire tournament without dropping a game.

His campaign started againstAlexander Wadon, before wins over Kajetan Lipski and Jakub Pytlowany saw him make his way into the final.

There, he came up against the tournament’s top seed, Polish No.1 Filip Jarota. Poleshchuk dispatched his opponent in just half an hour to secure the victory.
