Egyptian World No.58 Mohamed Reda produced a scintillating display to defeat Joe Lee in the final of the Grays Norwegian Open, PSA M15 event with a stunning 3-0 victory.

Reda had already stunned second seed Eddie Charlton in the quarter-final before seeing off Kristian Frost Olesen in the next round. Lee meanwhile saw off Jonas Daehler, Steven Finitsis and compatriot Charles Sharpes without dropping a game en-route to the final.

It was Reda though who started the stronger of the two with a punishing barrage of attacking squash laying the foundations for his 11-6 victory in the first game.

He kept up the onslaught in the second game as Lee, appearing in his first PSA World Tour final of the year, struggled to gain a foothold in the match.

Game three was the closest of the lot as Lee pushed Reda to the limit in a tightly-contested affair. The Egyptian just managed to edge it and completed an 11-6, 11-4, 16-14 victory to lift his 13th PSA World Tour title.

Result – Final: Grays Norwegian Open 2015
[6] Mohamed Reda (EGY) bt [1] Joe Lee (ENG) 3-0: 11-6, 11-4, 16-14 (54m)
