QSF 2: Tournament Preview

The first event this week on the Challenger Tour will be the QSF 2, which takes place at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex in Doha, with a men’s Challenger 5 level competition beginning on Monday, April 18.

The four-day tournament will feature 16 players from seven nations, mainly form the Middle East and Asia. Pakistan’s Asim Khan, the World No.58, is the top seed for the event, with Atari no.2 Syed Azlan Amjad as the No.2 seed, and aiming for glory on home soil once more.

Egypt’s Khaled Labib and Omar ElKattan, and the Malaysia duo of Darren Rahul Pragasam and Ong Sai Hung, will be among the top seeds for the event, with Belgium’s Joeri Hapers as the sole European in the draw.

There will be two further Qataris in the draw on home soil, with Abdulrahman Al-Malki and Ahmad Mohammad Altamimi both in the event, the latter being the tournament’s wildcard.
