Polskisquash Enjoy Open II: Busy Opening Day In Bielsko-Biala

On a busy opening day at the Enjoy Squash Club in Bielsko-Biala, Poland, where twelve matches were played, the final four are set at the Polskisquash Enjoy Open Challenger 3 II.

Top seed and Israeli No.1 Daniel Poleshchuk came through both of his two matches on the opening day of the tournament with ease, spending just 31 minutes in total on court. He defeated wildcard Maciej Borkowski and No.7 seed Jakub Gogol to make it into the last four.

He will face No.5 seed Dariusz Filipowski in the semi-finals of the Challenger 3 level competition, after the Pole got the better of wildcard Tomek Czana in the opening round, before then spending just a couple of minutes on court in his second round contest, as No.3 seed Jakub Pytlowany had to retire from the match.

The other semi-final will see Spaniard Marc Lopez, the No.2 seed for the competition, and Poland’s No.6 seed Kajetan Lipski, do battle for a place in the final on Sunday afternoon.

The semi-finals and finals of the Polskisquash Enjoy Open Challenger 3 II will take place in Bielsko-Biala, Poland on Sunday, June 12, with the winner of the event being crowned by the end of the day’s play.
