Moscow Challenger 3: Titov Claims Maiden PSA Title

Vladislav Titov has secured his first professional title, after taking the spoils on home soil at the Moscow Challenger 3 this weekend.

The event was restricted to only those currently living in Russia, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and Titov was the top seed in the Challenger 3 level draw.

The World No.208 came through his first three matches of of the tournament without dropping a single game, as he got the better of Andrey Uskov in the opening round, before wins against Igor Sivkov and Petr Smekhov saw him reach the final.

Titov then came up against the No.2 seed Makar Esin in the final, and the pair were level at one game apiece. The top seed then took both the third and fourth to secure the title, his first on Tour.
