CM Punjab International Open: Tournament Preview

Just a couple of days on from one tournament coming to a conclusion, the Punjab Squash Complex in Lahore, Pakistan plays host to another Challenger Tour event, with the CM Punjab International Open taking place this week.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Challenger 10 level tournament is being run with domestic restrictions in place, meaning that the entirety of the 32-man draw hails from the host nation Pakistan.

World No.47 Tayyab Aslam will be the top seed for the tournament, with Asim Khan, who claimed the title at last week’s event, as his nearest challenger for the glory come December 31.

Israr Ahmed, Amaad Fareed, Farhan Zaman, Zahir Shah, Noor Zaman and Waqas Mehboob will be the rest of the top eight seeds for the tournament.
