Chamberlain Open: Mohamed and Tomlinson Claim Inaugural titles

Top seeds Zahed Mohamed and Millie Tomlinson prevailed on finals day at the inaugural Chamberlain Squash Open as they captured the M25 and W10 titles, respectively, in Lagos, Nigeria.

World No.25 Mohamed claimed his fifth PSA World Tour title after an 11-7, 11-5, 11-4 defeat of fellow Egyptian Youssef Soliman in 40 minutes.

And Tomlinson – the only non-Egyptian player in action in the finals – ensured that it was a day to remember for the two top seeds as she too completed the win in straight games, defeating second seed Menna Hamed by an 11-4, 13-11, 11-7 margin to earn her 14th tour crown.
