Bangamata Squash Tournament: Tournament Preview

The last event to get underway on the PSA Challenger Tour this week will be the Bangamata Squash Tournament – Presented by SA Group, which will take place from Friday, March 18 to Tuesday, March 22.

The Chittagong Club, in the Bangaldeshi city, will play host to the Challenger 5 level tournament, which will feature 32 players hailing from seven different nations, all aiming to take home the title on Tuesday afternoon.

Egypt’s Yassin Elshafei will be the top seed for the tournament, with India’s Abhishek Agarwal and Kuwaiti No.1 Ammar Altamimi as the nearest challengers for the crown in terms of rankings.

Alireza Shameli will be the No.4 seed, as he aims for a first title on foreign soil. The Iranian No.1 has claimed four titles already, with two of those coming in the last few weeks, both on home soil in Tehran.
