Annecy Lake Open: Tournament Preview

25 March 2021

The second of two events in France this week is the Annecy Lake Open, with the men’s Challenger 5 level taking place at the Visaform Seynod in Annecy.

Like the majority of tournaments on the PSA Challenger Tour at the moment, there were restrictions on entrants, with only players residing in France being allowed to play.

The top seed for the event will be World No.207 Toufik Mekhalfi, with World No.269 Quint Mandil, World No.304 Paul Gonzalez and World No.313 Adrien Douillard amongst the top seeds for the event.

There will be twelve juniors in the tournament, with Gonzalez being the highest of them as the No.3 seed. Due to some late withdrawals, there will only be four matches in the first round, before the seeded players make their way into the draw in he last 16.

The event takes place from Friday 26 to Sunday 28 at the Visaform Seynod in Annecy, France where Toufik Mekhalfi is the top seed for the tournament. Follow the PSA Challenger Tour on Twitter and Facebook for daily updates from the event.

Action from Court 4 will be streamed throughout the week on the PSA Challenger Tour YouTube channel, where you can watch Challenger Tour action, and interviews with rising stars.
