Yannick Wilhelmi is a young Swiss player, who broke inside the world’s top 100 for the first time at the age of 21, and he already has multiple titles to his name.

Wilhelmi made his debut on Tour at the Swiss Open in 2019, and a year later at the same tournament, he made the final, losing out to Japan’s Ryosei Kobayashi in straight games. He would not have to wait long for his first title though, as he claimed victory at the Archi Factory Open Lorient in May 2021, getting the better of compatriot Robin Gadola in the final.

That came in a run of seven tournaments where the Swiss No.3 reached at least the quarter finals of each event, including another final, at the Austrian Open. He also made it into the semis of the Open de Mulhouse and the Swiss Open & Uster Cup.

Those results moved Wilhelmi inside the world’s top 100 for the first time in late 2021, and in his first appearance of the new year, he took victory at the PSA Challenger Le Reve, beating top seed Emyr Evans in the final to take his second title.
