Todd Harrity has made meteoric strides up the World Rankings since he made his PSA World Tour debut at 2011's US Open, and has now made his way inside the world’s top 40 for the first time.

He would have to wait three more years before he could lift his maiden PSA World Tour title, with a 3-0 victory over Ramit Tandon resulting in him lifting the Squash Revolution NY Pro Open. A second title came later the same year at the Madison Open before he achieved a top 70 World Ranking for the first time in January 2015.

A fantastic run at the President Gold Cup in November almost brought about his first PSA M25 crown but a defeat from Nasir Iqbal in the final prevented him from taking the title. Harrity reached the final of the Ganem Vein Institute Cactus Classic to Egyptian Omar Abdel Meguid.

Another runner-up finish came at the Salt Lake City Open later that year, this time the American lost out to Alfredo Avila in straight games. These high place tournament finishes saw Harrity break into the world’s top 50 for the first time in 2016. The year after, Harrity continued his strong form but was left without the main prize at the Oregon Open as Olli Tuominen claimed victory.

The US No.1 then made the quarter finals of the Irish Squash Open and the Arnold Homes Tring Open, before making the last four of the Select Gaming Kent Open Championships. He also made the quarters of the Life Time Chicago Open on home soil, before reaching the same stage of the Montreal Open later in the year.

Harrity finished runner-up in the CAC Squash Open, losing to compatriot Chris Hanson in the final, but he was able to grab another tournament victory in the International Tournament Madeira Island in 2018, where he defeated Joshua Masters in the final. The American also made the semi finals of the Kolkata International later that year as well.

The United States No.1 made his way into the top 50 in the World Rankings at the start of the season, and went on to reach the last 16 of both the Motor City Open and Pittsburgh Open on home soil in the early part of 2019. He also reached the second round of the Cannon Kirk Irish Squash Open and Allam British Open at the end of the season, before making the semi-finals of the E.M. Noll Classic in 2020.

In his second appearance of 2021, Harrity claimed another victory, this time winning the 2nd HCL SRFI Indian Tour - Chennai Leg 1 after beating home favourite Mahesh Mangaonkar in the final. He followed that with a string of second round appearances at the majors, including the Allam British Open and the CIB Egyptian Open, before breaking into the top 40 in the World Rankings for the first time at the start of 2022.

The American reached the third round of a major tournament for the first time in his career in February 2022, when he did so on home soil at the Windy City Open presented by the Walter Family. He followed that with another last 16 appearance at the Karachi Open Squash Championships. Harrity then consistently made the second round the majors throughout the rest of the year, along with a quarter final result at the Life Time Chicago Open on the Challenger Tour.

Harrity started 2023 in the North American swing, which included a last 16 result at the Oxford Properties Canadian Men’s Open. He also reached the last 16 of the Manchester Open later in the season, along with making the semis of the Guilfoyle PSA Squash Classic, a Challenger 10 level tournament.
