Rachel Arnold is the younger sister of former World No.12 Delia Arnold, and has proven herself to be a fierce competitor on Tour, breaking into the world’s top 30 in 2022.

She reached consecutive finals at the SRAM NSC Series in 2013 before following that up by reaching the same stage on the Malaysian Tour a year later.

Arnold fared well again on home-soil on the Malaysian Tour in 2015 but couldn't get past the semi-final stage this time around. She took her first victory on the tour later that year, before taking a second victory on the Tour in 2017, as she overcame Satomi Watanabe in the final.

In 2018, Arnold reached the quarter finals of the Australian Open and Queclink HKFC PSA International in back-to-back outings, before then making the last eight of the Golootlo Pakistan Open Squash Championships. She reached the semis in Australia for a second straight year, doing so again in 2019.

The young Malaysian then won back-to-back titles, securing the Malaysian Open crown, before winning at the Chennai Leg of the HCL SRFI Indian Tour. She also featured in the quarter-finals of the Mumbai Leg of the Tour as well, in what was her final appearance of 2019.

After only featuring three times on Tour throughout 2020, the Malaysian then made the semis of the SRAM PSA 1, losing out to eventual winner Aifa Azman, but she would get her own back on her compatriot later in the year to win the SRAM PSA 7, her fifth PSA Tour title.

In between, Arnold reached the third round of a Platinum level tournament for the first time, doing so at the Allam British Open. That result propelled her into the top 40 of the World Rankings for the first time. She also achieved last 16 results at the Squash On Fire Open and Manchester Open, before ending 2021 with a quarter final appearance at the Bronze level Malaysian Open Squash Championships.

Arnold started 2022 in the same vein of form, with a couple of last 16 results followed by another quarter final appearance. That came at the Squash On Fire Open, and she would also go on to make the last eight of the Cannon Kirk Irish Squash Open. The Malaysian then went on to collect a Bronze Medal at the Commonwealth Games, alongside partner Aifa Azman in the Women’s Doubles.

The 2022-2023 season started strongly for Arnold, who reached the last 16 of the CIB Egyptian Open, her second successive third round appearance in a major. That was followed by further last 16 results, coming at the Oracle NetSuite Open and the MARIGOLD Singapore Squash Open. She finished 2022 by making the semis on home soil in Kuala Lumpur, going one round better than a year earlier, as she broke into the world’s top 25 for the first time in her career.

Arnold started 2023 with last 16 results at both the Bahl and Gaynor Cincinnati Cup, and the Squash On Fire Open, before making the quarter finals at the Chestnut Hill Classic. The Malaysian also made the semis of the Richmond Open in her last appearance of the 2022-2023 season.
