England’s Rachael Chadwick only turned pro in 2016, but has already made her way inside the top 50 in the World Rankings.
Throughout 2016, her debut year on Tour, the Englishwoman only failed to reached the last eight of an event twice, making the quarter-final stage of seven tournaments. She made the final of three of those, finishing runner-up at the GillenMarkets Irish Squash Open, Legacy Wealth Belfast Open and the Open International de Squash de Nantes.
She then made it to the last four of both the Christchuch Vets Ipswich Open and the PwC Ladies Open in 2017, before making another final. This time, she lost out to Julianne Courtice in the final of the Denton Associates Northern Open, in what was her first appearance of 2018.
She also reached the semis of the Open International des Volcans, 2nd PwC Open and Val de Marne Open that year, before making the same stage of the Edinburgh Sports Club Open in her first appearance of 2019.
Chadwick made the last four of both the E.M. Noll Classic and the Annecy Rose Open before losing out in the final of the Courtcare Northern Open to Julianne Courtice for a second straight year.
After reaching the semis of both the Monte Carlo Squash Classic and the Edinburgh Sports Club Open in the 2019-2020 season, before it was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chadwick broke into the top 50 in the World Rankings for the first time in her career.
