Moustafa El Sirty is one of several young Egyptian talents, and broke into the top 30 in the World Rankings at the end of 2021 after winning nine Challenger Tour titles in the calendar year.

He made his debut on Tour in 2018, and only had to wait until his fourth event to make a final. That came at the Steel City South Australian Open, and he made a second consecutive final at the City of Greater Shepparton International just a few weeks later.

El Sirty then claimed two titles in 2019, winning twice on the Egyptian Tour. He won in both El Shams and Port Said, before featuring in a main draw of a Platinum level event for the first time at the CIB Egyptian Open.

He reached back-to-back semi-finals at the Capra Baerum Open and the PSA Valencia Open at the end of 2019, before winning his first event of 2020, the Airport Squash & Fitness Xmas Challenger, after beating Juan Camilo Vargas in the final 3-2.

2021 would be an incredible year for the young Egyptian, as he made at least the quarter finals of every tournament he played in, reaching 11 finals and claiming nine titles. He started the year at World No.83, and would go on to end it, and start 2022 inside the top 30 in the World Rankings.

El Sirty started with a win at the Egyptian Challenger Tour #1, before then reaching the semis of the Odense Open, a qualifier for the PSA World Championships. That was followed with back-to-back wins on the CIB Egyptian Challenger Tour, and a further final appearance as well. He then travelled to Europe, and was victorious at the Madeira International and the Heroes Graz Open. After a quarter final result on the CIB Egyptian Tour, El Sirty finished the year with fur consecutive victories.

He started with his biggest win to date, at the Challenger 30 level CAS - Serena Hotels / Combaxx International Squash Championships, before a second win in Pakistan came at the 15th CNS international Squash Championship. El Sirty then won in Norway at the Capra Baerum Open, before another victory came at the CIB Egyptian Challenger Tour 5.

El SIrty then started making strides onto the World Tour in 2022, reaching the last 16 of both the Manchester Open and J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions in May of that year. He then reached a first major third round, doing so at the U.S. Open, before defending his CAS - Serena Hotels/Combaxx International Squash Championships crown, winning the Challenger 30 level title for a second time, beating Mohamed ElSherbini in the final.

El Sirty reached the last 16 of the of the MARIGOLD Singapore Squash Open, Malaysian Open Squash Championships, Houston Open and J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions, before reaching the quarters of the Squash On Fire Open. That would be his last event before an injury setback saw him miss the rest of the campaign.
