Mohammad Syafiq Kamal is an up-and-coming Malaysian player who already has several wins to his name on the Challenger Tour.

He joined the PSA in 2013, but had to wait a couple of years before making it to his first final on the Tour. That came in an event on the Malaysian Squash Tour in 2015, and he would go on to have plenty of success on the Tour over the next few years.

He took his first win on the Tour a year later, beating compatriot Eain Yow Ng, before taking wins on the Malaysian Tour in both 2017 and 2018. Kamal also won the SRAM PSA 1 in 2019, before four consecutive runners-up finishes.

He made the final of the SRAM PSA 2, City of Kalgoorlie Golden Open, Australian Open and Tasmanian Open, along with semi-final appearances at the Greetings Squash Championship and the Roberts & Morrow North Coast Open.

His only appearance of 2020 saw him make the quarter finals of the 14th CNS International Squash Championship, before he started 2021 with a runners-up result at the SRAM PSA 1. Kamal then made the last 16 of several other events, including the Squash on Fire Open and the South State Bank Marietta Open before making the final of the SRAM PSA 6 and the semis of the SRAM PSA 7.
