Lyell Fuller is one of several Englishmen inside the top 100 of the World Rankings, after making his debut on the Tour in 2013.
He reached the semi-finals of his first main draw, doing so at the 2nd Open Squash Provence Chateau-Arnoux, before making the same stage of the Open du Gard a year later.
Fuller had a run of six straight events in 2015 where he reached at least the quarter-finals, including last four appearances at the Sekisui Open and the Madeira International Open Squash. His good form continued into 2016, where he finished runner-up at the Legacy Wealth Belfast Open.
He made another final in 2017, at the DPD/FOS Amsterdam Open, before securing his first victory, and a place in the top 100 because of it, at the E.M. Noll Classic in 2018, after beating Dylan Cunningham in the final.
The Englishman did not have to wait long for his second title, which came later that year at the Austrian Open. That was followed by semi-final appearances at the Securian Open, Seattle Open, Mount Royal University Open, Bermuda Open, Solom Markets City View Open and the Life Time Philadelphia Open in 2019, before he finished runner-up in defence of his Austrian crown.
He reached further semi-finals at the Cleveland Skating Club open and the 4th Edition of the PSA BTMI Barbados Open at the end of the year, before taking victory at the Assante Wealth Management Carter Classic, in what was his only event in 2020.
