Another of the young Egyptians up and cling in the World Rankings is Khaled Labib, who moved inside the top 100 for the first time at the start of 2022.

Labib featured on the Tour from 2014 onwards, but it was not until four years later when he reached the semi-finals of a tournament for the first time, doing so at the Beijing Squash Challenge.

A year later, and the Egyptian started to make a serious move up the World Rankings, thanks to making his first final. He lost out to Moustafa El Sirty at the CIB El Shams - Egyptian Tour 1, before then making the semis of the QSF 3 later that year as well.

After playing only once on Tour in 2020, Labib started 2021 with a trio of quarter final results on the Egyptian Challenger Tour, before making the semi-finals of the CIB Egyptian Tour 4 and the second round of the Challenger 30 level CAS - Serena Hotels / Combaxx International Squash Championships. A semi-final appearance at the QSF 3 in December of that year pushed him into the world’s top 100 for the first time to start 2022.
