Ivan Perez is a young Spaniard who has notched multiple Tour titles, and he is already inside the top 100 of the World Rankings.

Perez made his debut in 2019, and at the end of that year, he reached his first quarter final, doing so at the IMET Open. That was his last appearance on Tour for twelve months, mainly due to the Tour’s enforced six-month suspension due to the COVID19 pandemic.

The Spaniard featured twice at the end of 2020, both times playing on home soil. He made the last eight of the Costa Del Sol Open, before going all the way to the final of the Open Federation Espanola, losing out to Hugo Varela on both occasions.

He got his own back early in 2021 though, as he defeated Varela in the final of the Open Squash Aguadulce to claim his maiden Tour title. He went on to reach the semis of both the Archi Factory Open Lorient and the Madeira International over the next few months, before then also finishing runner-up at the Gibraltar Open.

Perez secured his second victory of the year at the Open de Cognac in November, with the points from that enough to push the Spaniard inside the world’s top 100 for the first time in his career. He ended 2021 with a runners-up finish at the RFES Spanish Open Ciudad de Palencia.
