Hollie Naughton is a Canadian who has already found success on the Tour since joining in 2012, and is now a member of the world's top 20.

Her first title came at the ORC Open in December 2014 where she saw off Maria Toorpakai Wazir in the final. A strong semi-final finish at the Montreal Open in March 2015 saw the Canadian break into the top 60 in the world for the first time in her career.

In 2016, Naughton secured the Nicola Wealth Open title when she downed Egypt’s Nada Abbas over three games. A handful of quarter final finishes throughout the rest of the season saw her continue her rise up the World Rankings and break into the top 40 for the first time in her career.

Naughton then made the semi finals of the Open International de Squash de Nantes, and the quarter finals of the London Open, in a barren 2017. The Canadian also made the last eight Bahl and Gaynor Cincinnati Cup at the start of 2018, and she followed that up with a runner-up finish at the JC Women’s Open.

The Canadian made the quarter finals of both the Cleveland Classic and J Warren Young Memorial Texas Open in 2019, with the pair of results sandwiching a last four finish at the Bahl and Gaynor Cincinnati Cup.

Naughton took over the Canadian No.1 spot in the same year, and reached the last 16 of the Oracle NetSuite Open, before reaching the second round of the 2019-2020 PSA Women’s World Championship, losing out to the eventual winner, Nour El Sherbini. She won the Racquet Club Pro-Series event in early 2020, ending a three-year wait for a title.

Following the return of the PSA World Tour after its six-month suspension due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Naughton came back in fine form, reaching the last 16 of both the Manchester Open and the CIB Egyptian Open, with the latter being the first time she had made it into the third round of a major tournament.

She then reached the last 16 of her final three events of 2020, the Manchester Open, CIB Egyptian Open and the CIB Black Ball Squash Open. In the process, she made it into the top 20 of the World Rankings for the first time in her career.

A string of third round appearances in the major continued into 2021, as the Canadian reached the last 16 of the CIB PSA Black Ball Squash Open, El Gouna International, PSA World Championships and U.S. Open presented by Truist. Naughton also reached the final of the Oxford Properties Canadian Senior Championships and made the semis of the Malaysian Open Squash Championships as well.

Naughton made it to the final of the Oxford Properties Canadian Open - Presented by AirSprint Private Aviation once more in 2022, before also making it into the last eight of both the Carol Weymuller Open and the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions. She finished the campaign by taking home the Silver Medal in the Women’s Singles at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

The Canadian started the 2022-2023 campaign by reaching a Platinum quarter final, doing so at the CIB Egyptian Open. She followed that up by making it into the last four of the Oracle NetSuite Open in San Francisco. A further quarter final appearance came at the Barfoot & Thompson New Zealand Open, and she also claimed a third Canadian Nationals title in 2022.

Naughton had a quiet start to 2023, with a couple of quarter final results in the early part of the year. She made the last eight of both the Bahl and Gaynor Cincinnati Cup and the Canadian Women’s Open while maintaining her position in the world’s top 20.
