Leicester-born George Parker is one of several Englishman in and around the world's top 40, and has been on Tour for more than a decade now.

After winning the European Junior U19 Championship in March 2015, Parker went on to break his PSA World Tour title duck six months later with victory over Chris Fuller in the final of the Barcelona International. That triumph saw Parker move into the world’s top 100 for the first time the following month.

Parker then beat Joe Green in the final of the True Potential Northumbria Open in 2016, and then made the semi finals of the Open Squash Provence Chateau-Arnoux. He finished runner-up in the Savcor Finnish Open, his first tournament of 2017, before going on to win the Hampshire Open, where he beat a familiar foe in Chris Fuller.

Parker secured another tour victory later that year, as he beat Patrick Rooney in the final of the Rhiwbina PSA Welsh Men’s Open. The Englishman won three more titles in 2018, as he moved into the top 50 in the world for the first time in his career. The Linear Logistics Bankers Hall Club Pro-Am, TRAC Oil & Gas North of Scotland Open and the West of Ireland Open were all secured.

The young Englishman made it to the last four of QSF No.1 in Qatar in the 2018-19 season, as well as making the last 16 of the U.S. Open, Black Ball Open and the Wimbledon Club Squash Squared Open.

The Englishman also made it to the last 16 in his first tournament of the 2019/2020 season, doing so at the Open de France - Nantes presented by Tailor Capital, before making the same stage on home soil at the Channel VAS Championships at St. George’s Hill. Parker would also make the second round of several Platinum evens across the campaign.

The Englishman then made it to the third round of a major for the first time in three years, and did so on the grandest stage, at the PSA World Championships, in the summer of 2021. He also reached the last 16 of the Manchester Open and Canary Wharf Classic, before finishing his year with a semi-final appearance at the London Open.

2022 was a busy year for the Englishman, who also secured his first international silverware. He was a key part of the English team that won the European Team Championships, as they beat France to take the title in Eindhoven.

Back on the Tour, he made the last 16 of the Sturbridge Capital Motor City Open, Squash On Fire Open, Optasia Championships and Manchester Open, prior to making the semi-finals of the Cannon Kirk Irish Squash Open on the Challenger Tour.

Parker then made it back into the third round of a Platinum, as he hit the last 16 stage of the QTerminals Qatar Classic, before making the quarters of the Open de France de Squash. He finished the year by reaching the last eight of the Czech Open and another semi-final appearance at the London Open. The Englishman only played five times in the second half of the 2022-2023 season, with his best result being a last 16 finish at the Cannon Kirk Gillen Markets Irish Squash Open.
