Since joining the Tour in 2010, Anna Serme has gone on to cement her place as the Czech No.1 in the game and broke into the top 40 at the start of 2022.

She made it to the semi-finals of her first tournament as a pro, doing so at the Harrow Prague Open, but had Serme had to wait until 2016 before reaching a final for the first time. That came at the Harrow Ukrainian Squash Cup, but she lost out to Millie Tomlinson.

The Czech No.1 went on to reach the semis of the Legacy Wealth Belfast Open and the London Open later that year before making a second final on Tour. She made it to the final of the Grand Sport Armenia 2nd Challenger W5, following a semi-final appearance at the Sekisui Open.

A string of quarter-final results came in 2018 and 2019 for Serme, including the Growthpoint S.A. Open, Val de Marne and the Detroit Pro Classic. The Czech player made the semis of the International Squash Classic at the end of that year, and then made it to another final in 2021.

Serme made the final of the PSA Squash95 Paris in her first appearance of the year, before making it to the semi-finals of the Le Havre PSA Challenger, losing out to Melissa Alves on both occasions.

Later in 2021, Serme made it into the second round of a Platinum level tournament for the first time, making it into the last 32 at the U.S. Open presented by Truist. That was followed by a last 16 result at her home open, the Czech Open, before she then made it to the same stage of the Malaysian Open Squash Championships. Thanks to those results in the latter part of the year, Serme broke inside the top 40 in the World Rankings for the first time at the start of 2022.
