Top seeds Jan Koukal and Andrew Wagih Shoukry will contest the final of the Tour de las Americas Regatas Resistencia Open after straight games wins in the semi-finals of the PSA World Tour Challenger 10 event at Club Regatas Resistencia in Resistencia, Argentina.
Czech number one Koukal, the defending champion (pictured), ended Alex Ingham’s impressive run by beating the unseeded Englishman 11-5, 15-13, 11-7 to clock up the 35th PSA Tour final of his career – and his second this year.
Wagih Shoukry, the second seed from Egypt, disappointed the local crowd by ousting home hero Gonzalo Miranda, the No4 seed from Argentina, 14-12, 11-8, 11-3.
The 21-year-old from Cairo is celebrating his 11th Tour final.
