Squash on Fire Open – Day Two: How To Watch Live

The Squash on Fire Open continues today in Washington D.C with 16 matches taking place across two courts where players will look to move into the quarter finals in the latest PSA World Tour Bronze event.

Play starts at 12:00 (GMT-5) across both courts, live on SQUASHTV.

Egypt’s teenage sensation Amina Orfi opens play on the glass court as she takes on Malaysia’s Aina Amani. Orfi was the runner up in last year’s event and will be hoping to go one further this time around as she searches for a first World Tour title. Orfi overcame Sabrina Sobhy in the semi-finals last year and Sobhy returns again this season, facing Salma Eltayeb in her opening match.

Top seeds and defending champions Tinne Gilis and Victor Crouin both feature in the opening matches of the evening session as they get their title defences underway against Haya Ali and Ben Smith.

Former World No.1 James Willstrop scored a win over Rui Soares in round one and is back in action tonight in the final match as he takes on compatriot Nathan Lake for a quarter final spot.

Over on court two, Malaysian duo Rachel Arnold and Aira Azman feature in the afternoon session as they square up against Zeina Mickawy and Jessica Turnbull in a bid to reach the final eight. More home interest will excite the Washington crowd as Todd Harrity and Spencer Lovejoy look to continue their runs in the event. They’ll be up against experienced duo Omar Mosaad and Saurav Ghosal.

A repeat of the recent Spanish National final between Bernat Jaume and Iker Pajares closes play on court 2. Pajares won 3-1 last week to claim a fourth National title, he’ll be hoping to score another win over his compatriot to reach the quarter finals for the third successive year at the Squash on Fire Open.
