Squash On Fire Open – Day One: How To Watch Live

The Squash on Fire Open gets underway today with eight matches taking place across two courts in Washington D.C as players look to book their spots in the second round.

Play begins at 12:00 on both courts (GMT-5) with play available to watch live on SQUASHTV.

The action on the glass court begins with Germany’s Saskia Beinhard taking on Malaysia’s Aira Azman at 12:00, and ends with an exciting matchup as former World No.1 James Willstrop faces Portuguese No.1 Rui Soares at 20:15. India’s Velvan Senthilkumar, who enjoyed an exciting run at the Pittsburgh Open including a win over the No.8 seed Faraz Khan, also takes to the court in his 18:15 clash with wildcard Mark Broekman.

Order of play – Glass court

On court 8, Egypt’s Salma Eltayeb kicks off the action with her 12:00 match against Spain’s Marta Dominguez. Wildcard Muhammad Akim Khan begins his campaign in a testing first match against France’s Lucas Serme. Rounding out the day’s activity, England’s Ben Smith takes on Mexico’s Leonel Cardenas.
