14 May 2024

Round three of the 2023-24 CIB PSA World Championships continues today with eight matches taking place across two glass courts at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation and Palm Hills Squash Club in Cairo, Egypt.

Play will start at 19:30 (GMT+3) on both courts. All action will be streamed live on SQUASHTV, with live scores available to view here.

All of the women’s matches will take place at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilisation tonight, with four quality matchups lined up. Japan’s Satomi Watanabe will take on Nour El Tayeb in the opener whilst No.3 seed Nouran Gohar versus USA’s Sabrina Sobhy will follow. A repeat of the amazing London Squash Classic final between Sivasangari Subramaniam and Hania El Hammamy is third in the order of play as No.2 seed El Hammamy will be desperate to claim revenge. Georgina Kennedy faces Rowan Elaraby to close play at the Museum.

Over at Palm Hills Squash Club, four exciting men’s matches are set to delight the Egyptian crowd. An all English affair opens play with the Elshorbagy brothers facing each other for the 23rd time on the PSA tour. This match will be available to watch for free on the PSA Facebook page and YouTube channel from 19:30 (GMT+3).

No.2 seed Paul Coll will look to end the run of Malaysia’s Eain Yow Ng in the second match. A heavyweight clash between Mostafa Asal and Joel Makin is next in what is sure to be an intense affair. An all-Egyptian clash will close play at the Museum as Mazen Hesham and Youssef Soliman will battle it out for the last quarter final spot.
