PSA Extend Condolences To Omar Mosaad

28 July 2015

The Professional Squash Association (PSA) extend their deepest condolences and sympathies to World No.7 Omar Mosaad, who yesterday lost both his mother and sister in a car accident in Egypt.

Mosaad’s mother Ahlam Ramadan was 61 while his sister, Walaa Mosaad, was 33 and mother of two young children – Tia and Youssef. Mosaad, 27, will attend their funeral today, July 28, in his home town of Cairo.

“On behalf of all the players, promoters and staff associated with the PSA I would like to express my condolences to Omar on the tragic loss of his mother and sister yesterday,” said PSA Chief Executive Alex Gough.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with Omar and his family during this incredibly difficult time and I am sure everyone in the squash world will do whatever they can do support Omar during this period and beyond.”
