Peter Takes Pilatus Title

Home favourite Reiko Peter delighted the capacity crowd in Kriens, Switzerland as he captured the 2015 Pilatus Cup title with a dominant 3-0 win over Austrian Aqeel Rehman in the final.

Peter was seeded number one for the tournament and dutifully lived up to his billing, surviving a series of stern tests en route to the final where he produced some of his most impressive squash to deny Rehman a sniff of the title as he stormed to the title in just 34 minutes, winning 11-7 11-7 11-8.

“I’m really happy to win my third title, especially in my home club at the end of the season,” said Peter.

“I played some good rallies today and to finish the season like that is such a pleasure.

“Thanks to everyone involved here at Pilatus Club, my supporters and sponsors and a special thanks to my family and friends who support me every day.”
