Open de France Day Two: How To Watch Live

The second day of the Open de France sees the seeded players enter the draw, and there will be seven French players featuring on home soil, including the new male French No.1.

All the side court action will be LIVE to watch from La Maison du Squash on SQUASHTV on the opening day from 12:00 (GMT+2). Glass court action from Hangar 24 will follow on at 19:30 (GMT+2), also on SQUASHTV.

This afternoon’s side court action will feature both of the tournament’s top seeds, with Egypt’s Marwan ElShorbagy and Belgium’s Nele Gilis kicking off play on Court 6. The Egyptian is on first against England’s Nick Wall, before Gilis takes on Frenchwoman Marie Stephan for a place in the last eight.

Elsewhere at La Maison du Squash, Welshwoman Tesni Evans will feature for the first time this season, while there will be a big all-French clash, as No.2 seed Gregoire Marche takes on Auguste Dussourd.

The glass court action starts at 19:30, with Melissa Alves aiming to get the home crowd on side against Egyptian youngster Fayrouz Aboelkheir. The other women’s match tonight will see World No.12 Tinne Gilis, the highest-ranked female player in the tournament, taking on Japanese No.1 Satomi Watanabe, for a place in the quarter finals

The first men’s match will see England’s Charlie Lee, who took out Spaniard Bernat Jaume on the opening day, and Indian No.1 Saurav Ghosal do battle, before World No.11 and new French No.1 Victor Crouin takes on Egypt’s Aly Abou Eleinen in the last match of the evening, and a throwback to their college days, when they played against each other for Harvard and Penn, respectively.
