MARIGOLD Singapore Squash Open 2022: Day Four – How To Watch Live

18 November 2022

We’ve reached the quarter final stage at the MARIGOLD Singapore Squash Open 2022 with three unseeded players joining the remaining 13 seeds all looking to book their places in the Gold event semi-finals.

Play starts at 12:00 (GMT+8) with women’s No.1 seed Amanda Sobhy opening proceedings on the all-glass court at the OCBC Arena. She takes on Belgium’s Nele Gilis for a spot in the semi-finals. Following that match will be the turn of giant killer, Eain Yow Ng (who beat Paul Coll in round two), against Wales’ ‘Golden Tiger’ Joel Makin.

Two exciting clashes follow the opening two as an all-Egyptian clash between Rowan Elaraby and Nour El Tayeb is sure to excite the Singapore crowd. Elaraby got the better of her compatriot in the recent Grasshopper Cup, but El Tayeb will be determined to get her revenge. Fellow Egyptian and former World Champion Tarek Momen is next up as he faces the tough task of stopping England’s Mohamed ElShorbagy as he looks to win his tenth successive match (including the Carrus Nations Cup).

The final match of the day’s play will be an exciting affair between U.S. Open champion Diego Elias and Egypt’s Mazen Hesham. Elias and Hesham have met 10 times on the PSA World Tour with the Peruvian winning on the last four occasions. You would have to go back to 2019 for Hesham’s last victory over the World No.4.

You can watch all the action from the glass court on SQUASHTV, while live scoring from both courts is available here.
