Life Time Chicago Open: ElSherbini & Eleinen Set for Final Clash

Egyptian duo Mohamed ElSherbini and Aly Abou Eleinen will go head-to-head in the final of the Life Time Chicago Open 2023 – The Hussain Family, PSA Challenger Tour 30 event following respective wins over Aly Hussein and Tom Walsh in their semi-final matches at Life Time Athletic Vernon Hills.

Top seed ElSherbini has reached the 16th PSA final of his career after getting the better of No.8 seed Hussein by an 11-7, 11-5, 11-9 scoreline.

Eleinen – the No.2 seed – secured his final berth courtesy of a 13-11, 11-5, 5-11, 11-8 victory over the unseeded Englishman Tom Walsh.

ElSherbini and Eleinen will now meet for the first time on the PSA Tour. ElSherbini is targeting his 11th PSA title – and first since 2019 – while a win for Eleinen would yield his third career title and his first for 11 months.
