Georgina Kennedy Moves to Highest World Ranking to Date in Latest Standings

England’s Georgina Kennedy has moved to her highest ranking to date in the latest PSA World Rankings as she has overtaken Belgium’s Nele Gilis to sit at World No.6. Kennedy reached her first Platinum event semi-final at the Paris Squash 2023 then lost out in the final eight to eventual champion Hania El Hammamy in the Qatar Classic.

Egypt’s Salma Hany has moved up a place in her bid to move back inside the top 10 as she now sits at No.11. Hany reached the quarter finals of the Qatar Classic after downing World No.8 Nour El Tayeb in round two but was unable to find a way past Tinne Gilis to reach the semi-finals.

There are also one place jumps for Rowan Elaraby and Sarah Jane Perry as USA’s Olivia Clyne slips down two places to World No.15. Egypt’s teenage superstar Amina Orfi is now places just outside the top 30 in the world at No.32 after another postitive outing in Qatar. She reached round three in Doha and has jumped six places.
