The 2015 Open International d’Angers, PSA Challenger 10 event gets underway on Wednesday 3 June with some superb looking fixtures ahead in France.

Australian Steven Finitsis is seeded first for the event and is in prime position to win his first PSA World Tour title since last June.

The experienced 32-year-old has secured two quarter-final finishes this year at the Savcor Finnish Open and Andorra Open and also appeared in the qualifying draw at the Allam British Open last month before losing out to Shaun Le Roux.

The World No.58 will meet Spaniard Edmon Lopez Moller in the opening round but will have to be wary of the 18-year-old, who is aiming to make an impression in his 11th PSA World Tour appearance, if he is to avoid an upset.

World No.74 Piedro Schweertman is the number two seed and has made it past the quarter-final stage in seven of the last eight tournaments that he has participated in.

With six PSA World Tour titles to his name, the Dutchman is more than capable of adding to that and he faces Englishman Richard Williams in the first round.

Pakistan’s Tayyab Aslam is also in the mix and the 18-year-old will be hoping to spring a few surprises this time out. He secured two quarter-final places at the CNS International Squash Championship and the FMC International Pakistan event before bowing out in the opening round of the HKFC International 25.

The number three seed meets Baptiste Masotti who will be playing in front of his home-crowd.

Carlos Cornes Ribadas is another player who will be gunning for the title. The 26-year-old from Spain is yet to win a PSA World Tour title but, with two semi-finals in his last 5 tournaments, has a chance at changing that if he can raise his game slightly. Ribadas is up against Wildcard Enzo Corigliano as he looks to progress to the next round.
