Karim Ebrahim and Belal Nawar have progressed through to the main draw of a PSA World Tour event for the first time after respective victories against local players Sergey Keshishyan and Saif Ullah in the qualifying round of the Grand Sport Armenian Challenger, PSA M5 event.

World No.439 Ebrahim blew his opponent away with a sumptuous performance as he controlled the encounter to storm to an 11-4, 11-5, 11-2 triumph.

The Egyptian will meet his compatriot Ahmed Hussein in the opening round of the main draw as he looks to continue his sterling progress so far on what is only his second PSA World Tour appearance.

Meanwhile, Nawar came up with a similar display to see off competition from Saif Ullah. The 17-year-old dropped just a solitary point in the first game and stayed on top throughout to secure his progress through to the next round where he will meet Joeri Hapers.

Mohammad Reza Sadeghpour and Sajid Khan will also compete in the main draw after the pair received walkovers over Hovhannes Grigoryan and Muhammad Umair, respectively.

Sadeghpour goes on to face off with Sergey Grigoryan when the main draw gets underway while Khan has the difficult task of playing against Mazen Gamal.
