Carol Weymuller Open 2024 – Day One: How to Watch Live

The Carol Weymuller Open 2024 gets underway today from The Heights Casino club in Brooklyn, New York with eight first round matches taking place at the PSA World Tour Bronze event.

Two courts will be in operation on the opening day, with action from both courts available to watch below.

Court West

Court East

The opening match on court E will be between Spain’s Marta Dominguez and Egypt’s Nadine Shahin. The Egyptian sits 28 places ahead of Dominguez in the current PSA World Rankings and will be looking to show that difference in the match.

Mariam Metwally reached the last 16 in the J.P Morgan Tournament of Champions, losing out Nouran Gohar. The Egyptian will be looking to carry on her good form as she faces England’s Asia Harris in round one. Another English player features in the court E line up as Millie Tomlinson faces Canada’s Nicole Bunyan. The Canadian claimed a big win over compatriot Hollie Naughton last week and is another who will be hopeful of continuing good form.

The third match features event wildcard Min Jie Teh, who faces Egypt’s Kenny Ayman. The Malaysian reached a highest World Ranking of No.55 in 2017 and will be determined to produce a strong performance in what is an exciting opportunity for the wildcard.
