Black Ball Squash Open – Day One: How to Watch Live

11 April 2024

The PSA World Tour heads to Egypt today as the Black Ball Squash Open 2024 gets underway from the Black Ball Sporting Club, with 16 matches taking place across two courts in the latest Gold event.

Play starts at 12:00 (GMT+2) across both courts, with all action available to watch live on SQUASHTV.

On the all-glass court, all matches apart from one feature a home interest, starting with Hana Ramadan as she takes on Switzerland’s Cindy Merlo. That will be followed by an entertaining clash between Germany’s Raphael Kandra and ‘The Gun Slinger’ Youssef Ibrahim.

Fayrouz Aboelkheir and Fares Dessouky feature next as they take on Emilia Soini and Leandro Romiglio. Dessouky has a strong track record at the Black Ball Sporting Club, claiming the title in 2020 and reaching the final of the Platinum event held there in 2021. He’ll be looking to recapture his form in one of his favourite venues to move back towards the top 10.

An all-Egyptian clash between Salma Eltayeb and Nadine Shahin opens the evening session before both wildcards take to the court. Dominica’s Aly Ezzat is the men’s wildcard and will take on Swiss veteran Nicolas Mueller. Women’s wildcard Nour Ramy then faces compatriot Mariam Metwally. A clash between England’s Curtis Malik and former World No.3 Omar Mosaad completes the days action.
