Abbas Accepts Six-month Period Of Ineligibility

Nada Abbas has completed a six-month period of ineligibility after testing positive for a prohibited substance following testing carried out by the International Testing Agency (ITA) during the 2022 El Gouna International.

A sample collected by the ITA returned an Adverse Analytical Finding (AAF) for the prohibited substance 4-methylhexan-2-amine (methylhexaneamine), which is on the World Anti-Doping Agency’s (WADA’s) prohibited list.

As a result, Abbas accepted a period of ineligibility from competition between July 25, 2022 – January 24, 2023.
