26 February 2024

The top 10 in the PSA Men’s World Rankings is unchanged this week as action continues in the sixth Platinum event of the season, the Windy City Open 2024.

Ali Farag continues to lead the way and is more than 1,000 points ahead of consistent World No.2 Diego Elias. Elias along with World No.3 Paul Coll and World No.4 Mostafa Asal are all in quarter final action today in Chicago. The trio are only separated by 300 points, meaning that a strong performance this week may prove crucial in next weeks ranking update.

Spain’s Iker Pajares has dropped three places further down the rankings to World No.18, allowing Egyptian duo Fares Dessouky and Youssef Ibrahim to climb places as well as Colombia’s Miguel Rodriguez.

Malaysia’s Eain Yow Ng has also moved up a spot to World No.19, two spots away from his highest position whilst England’s Nathan Lake has moved to his highest ranking to date of World No.23. The Englishman has reached two finals on the Challenger Tour this season as well as recording two quarter final appearances in World Tour events.
