SmartCentres Kinetic Florida Open – Day Three: How To Watch Live

11 January 2024

Day three at the SmartCentres Kinetic Florida Open will see the final quarter final spots decided with the last eight round two matches of the opening PSA World Tour event of the new year.

Gregoire Marche and Mohamed ElSherbini start off the day’s action at 12:00 (GMT-5). The Frenchman has the advantage in the pair’s head-to-head, winning four of their five meetings, most recently in the 2022-2023 PSA World Championships.

The second men’s match of the day sees an all-English affair with No.3 seed Mohamed ElShorbagy starting his 2024 campaign against compatriot Nathan Lake, who booked his round two spot with a win over Argentinian wildcard Jeremias Azaña.

World No.2 Nouran Gohar makes her return to the court after time away due to exacerbating a pre-existing injury during her Qatar Classic quarter final against Amanda Sobhy. She will play fellow Egyptian Zeina Mickawy who convincingly beat England’s Grace Gear 3-1 on Day one.

Sebastien Bonmalais also returned from injury for the Florida Open after picking up a hamstring injury in the quarter finals of the Singapore Open, beating Karim El Hammamy in the first round to face Columbia’s Miguel Rodriguez at 18:30.

Play will take place on the glass court and is available to watch live on SQUASHTV.
