QTerminals Qatar Classic Day Four: How to Watch Live

12 September 2023

The QTerminals Qatar Classic continues today, with both the women’s and men’s players fighting for a spot in the quarter-finals in Doha.

On the glass court, two of the women’s top four seeds are in action, with Paris Squash winner Nour El Sherbini squaring off against Rowan Elaraby and Joelle King taking on Belgian Tinne Gilis, after the No.4 seed passed the test of British Nationals champion Jasmine Hutton in round two.

After edging past World No.5 Paul Coll yesterday in a gripping 93-minute encounter, Welshman Joel Makin is back in action against Egyptian Mohamed ElSherbini for a spot in the last eight.

Victor Crouin will look to continue his stay in the Terminals Qatar Classic at the Khalifa Centre when he takes on Scotsman Greg Lobban, while men’s No.8 seed Tarek Momen faces the tough prospect of coming up against home favourite Abdulla Mohd Al Tamimi, who is yet to drop a game this tournament.

Elsewhere, women’s No.6 seed Nele Gilis will look to book her spot in the quarter-finals when she comes up against Nada Abbas, and Canada’s Hollie Naughton will look to continue her fine form in Qatar against Salma Hany after defeating Katie Malliff in the second round.

The day will be closed out by World No.1 Ali Farag, who will look to continue his unbeaten start to the season and impeccable tournament to date against Egypt’s Fares Dessouky.

All matches on Tuesday will be played on the glass court, with action set to commence at 12:00 (GMT+3)
