QTerminals Qatar Classic Day Five: How To Watch Live

13 September 2023

The QTerminals Qatar Classic ramps up a notch today with four women’s semi-finalists set to be decided and four third-round matches on the men’s side of the draw scheduled to be played in Doha.

Play begins at 12:00 (GMT+3) at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, with the women’s top three seeds, Nouran Gohar, Nour El Sherbini and Hania El Hammamy, all looking to book their places in the last four.

El Hammamy will kick the day off in what looks a mouth-watering encounter against No.8 seed Georgina Kennedy, who looked in brilliant form when defeating Sarah-Jane Perry in the last round.

Meanwhile, Gohar squares off against American No.7 seed Amanda Sobhy, and Paris Squash winner El Sherbini will look to continue her faultless start to the season when she faces Nele Gilis.

The final match on the women’s side of the draw sees Tinne Gilis, who scored a major upset in the third round when coming from two games down to defeat No.4 seed Joelle King, play Egypt’s Salma Hany.

In the men’s third round, World No.2 Diego Elias faces Youssef Soliman, while Mohamed ElShorbagy will look to continue the defence of his Qatar Classic crown when squaring off against Youssef Ibrahim.

Elsewhere, an all-Egyptian encounter sees Aly Abou Eleinen and No.6 seed Mazen Hesham, while Karim Abdel Gawad and Nicolas Mueller will feature in the last match of day five.
