PSA World Tour Men’s Player of the Year

Awarded to the male player who best demonstrated supreme athletic performance and achievement during the season.

Mostafa Asal

Mostafa Asal became the third youngest male player to reach World No.1 when he topped the World Rankings for the first time back in January.

The Raging Bull, who enjoyed a 12-week stay at the summit, claimed four titles during the 2022-23 campaign, including retaining his PSA World Tour Finals crown for a third year in succession.

Diego Elias

Diego Elias created history in April when he became the first South American to reach the top of the World Rankings.

The Peruvian Puma, who finished the season as World No.2, scooped four titles throughout the campaign. Three of those were a Stateside hat-trick when he claimed the J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions, the Motor City Open and the Pittsburgh Open.

Ali Farag

Ali Farag began and ended the season as the World No.1, but a knee injury kept him out of action for a number of events and saw him lose top spot.

But the Egyptian roared back in the second half of the campaign, clinching four titles in a row. The 31-year-old landed his fourth World Championship crown as well as bagging his first-ever British Open title during his hot streak of form.
