Oracle NetSuite Open: Day 1 Preview

The Oracle NetSuite Open gets underway today in San Francisco, with three venues playing host to opening round action at the PSA World Tour Silver level event.

The Olympic Club of San Francisco will host six men’s matches, while the University Club of San Francisco will play host to six women’s matches, all taking place this afternoon. The evening session will take place at SquashZone, with two men’s and two women’s matches on a four-match slate.

An all-Hong Kong battle between Ka Yi Lee and Tomato Ho will kick off one court at the University Club, where England’s Millie Tomlinson and Lucy Beecroft will also be in action throughout the afternoon.

Meanwhile, another English player, in Nick Wall, will be in action at the Olympic Club. He will be joined by Americans Faraz Khan and Zane Patel, the latter of which being the men’s wildcard.

Women’s wildcard Niya Ravani will be on court in the late session at SquashZone, up against Chan Sin Yuk, who now calls the United States home. Mexico’s Cesar Salazar will take on Czechia’s Martin Svec in the last match of the day’s play.

There will be no streaming from San Francisco on the opening day, but you can keep up to date with live scores from all five courts in action here.

Streaming will begin tomorrow at 12:00 (GMT-7) from Pier 70, Building 12, where the glass court will be housed for the PSA World Tour Silver level tournament.
