Optasia Championships 2024 – Day Two: Preview & How To Watch Live

13 March 2024

The Optasia Championships 2024 continue today, with eight second-round matches to come from the Wimbledon Squash Club in London.

Play will begin at 12:00 (GMT) and every single second of action will be available to watch live on SQUASHTV. Matches between women’s No.1 seed Nele Gilis and England’s Katie Malliff (17:30), as well as men’s No.3 seed Mostafa Asal and Germany’s Raphael Kandra (18:15) will be available to watch for free by clicking here.

Three English players will look to double up on their opening-day victories by reaching the quarter-finals of the Bronze-level women’s event. Millie Tomlinson will begin the day’s play against No.3 seed Nada Abbas, Alicia Mead faces No.8 seed Hana Moataz, and the aforementioned Malliff will look to build upon her victory against Marta Dominguez in Round One.

Hong Kong’s Chan Sin Yuk, who looked in impressive form when defeating Nadia Pfister yesterday, will be looking to cause an upset against No.5 seed Tesni Murphy.

Elsewhere, World No.2 Paul Coll, a previous winner of the event back in 2016, gets his campaign underway USA’s Todd Harrity, while No.8 seed Baptiste Masotti squares off against Leandro Romiglio of Argentina. In what looks like an evenly-poised curtain closer, No.6 seed Joel Makin and Spain’s Iker Pajares will go toe-to-toe for a spot in the last eight.
