Hesham Rises to No.6 in PSA Men’s World Rankings

Egypt’s Mazen Hesham has recorded a joint career-high ranking of No.6 following his runner-up finish at last week’s Canadian Men’s Open presented by AirSprint Private Aviation.

Hesham’s ranking of No.6 is his highest since October, 2023.

The 29-year-old from Egypt beat England’s Tom Walsh, Switzerland’s Yannick Wilhelmi and compatriot Youssef Soliman before falling to World No.3 Diego Elias in the title decider.

Miguel Rodriguez

New Ranking: No.15

Colombia’s Miguel Rodriguez cracks the top 15 once again, marking his highest ranking since January of this year.

The 38-year-old moves up a place after Egypt’s Fares Dessouky tumbled three spots from No.15 to No.18 following the expiration of his points for a quarter-final finish at last year’s Black Ball Open.

Youssef Ibrahim

Egypt’s Youssef Ibrahim rises two places following his semi-final finish at last week’s Squash in the Land Presented by Greater Cleveland Squash.

Seeded at No.2 for the event, Ibrahim fell to a shock defeat against eventual runner-up Bernat Jaume in the semi-finals.
