The first-ever Diamond-level PSA Squash Tour event took place last week, with Nour El Sherbini and Mostafa Asal capturing the CIB Egyptian Open titles at Club O West in Cairo.

No.3 seed Asal took down men’s World No.1 Ali Farag in a repeat of the season-ending PSA World Tour Finals title decider, while women’s World No.1 El Sherbini ended her four-match losing streak against Nouran Gohar to win her first event since the Windy City Open in February.
