Dimitri Steinmann Handed Eight-Week Suspension

The Professional Squash Association (PSA) can confirm that Dimitri Steinmann has been given an eight-week suspension from the PSA Tour – commencing from December 21 – in addition to a £2,000 fine.

Steinmann has been charged with a breach of the PSA Code of Conduct relating to:-

Article 4.L ‘Abuse of Racket or Equipment’ during his round one match with Timothy Brownell at the U.S. Open on October 7, 2023

Article 4.P ‘Dangerous Play’ during his round one match with Timothy Brownell at the U.S. Open on October 7, 2023

These charges were upgraded to a breach of Article 4.C ‘Aggravated Behaviour’ by the PSA Disciplinary Committee.

Steinmann has accepted the suspension and displayed remorse for his actions. He will not be eligible to compete again on the PSA Tour until February 15, 2024.
