Order of play: Semi-finals

Georgina Kennedy v Olivia Weaver

The first match of the evening pits No.3 seed and home favourite Olivia Weaver against English top seed Georgina Kennedy, in the pair’s first meeting since the final of last season’s DAC Pro Squash Classic in Detroit.

Weaver emerged the victor in that contest, with the American recording her first ever win against Kennedy following a run of three successive defeats.

Will the US No.2 make it back-to-back victories over Kennedy to reach her first final in 11 months? Or can Kennedy avenge her Detroit defeat?

Rowan Elaraby v Tinne Gilis

The second semi-final sees Egyptian No.4 seed Rowan Elaraby go up against Belgian No.2 seed Tinne Gilis in just the second ever meeting between two talents on the rise.

After a challenging 22/23 season, Elaraby has hit a purple patch of form this year, culminating with a run to the semi-finals of last month’s Platinum-level J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions.

Gilis, meanwhile, has continued to build on her progress of recent years, with the 26-year-old breaking into the top eight of the PSA World Rankings for the first time in her career this season.

With both playes looking sharp in Cincinnati, expect no quarter to be given as they compete for a spot in the final.
